National Public Lands Day
Join Bayou Land Conservancy for the largest nationwide celebration of our public lands. Hosted at Lake Houston Wilderness Park and in partnership with REI, volunteers will spruce up the park and get a guided tour from park naturalists!

What to Expect:

Bending down for trash pickup

Lifting up to ten pounds (if we find some big trash!)

Walking approximately two miles total at a slow-to-moderate pace

Limited on-site bathrooms
-
Working in both sunlight and shade
What to Bring:

A pair of gloves (gardening, outdoor, or even just vinyl gloves)
-
Close-toed shoes
-
Refillable water bottle (to keep it Covid-friendly, BLC will have individual water refills available)
-
Sunscreen and insect repellant
-
A hat

Registration is free, but required to attend this event. BLC is committed to our community and following the latest Covid-19 precautions to protect our members.
